Nudism and Riding the Red Wave Naked: Diva Cup Review and A Giveaway!

The Diva Cup Reviewed By Felicity:

Diva Cup – This post is for women, especially those who like to go naked! Men, if period-talk makes you uneasy, then keep reading 😉
Well I came across just a little menstruation (Yeah it’s like 6th grade health class all over again) product awhile back called the Diva Cup. I was definitely intrigued to attempt it, so when I saw it on the shelf in my local health food store, I snatched it up! The Diva Cup is a silicone-established menstrual cup which is inserted into the vagina just like a tampon. Yet, rather than consuming everything, it is all collected in the cup. You can wear it for up to 12 hours at a time (in contrast to changing a tampon every few hours), and it does not leak! (Given it is properly added, and it might take some practice.)
Diva Cup and its carrying case
Would you dread the “crimson wave” crashing your nakation? I understand many girls do, especially those new to naturism. Well I was excited to review this on my site because this really is fantastic for naturist women! It’s so discrete, you no more have to be worried about an inept, visible tampon string. Women, that is a better way to love going completely naked during your period and be more relaxed and comfortable doing so. It took me a day or two to get used to it, but the cup is actually very user-friendly. I remember hearing about this sort of merchandise quite a long time ago, believing it sounded dirty and a little gross, but it’s not. Plus it is so much more convenient than tampons. (Ever been to Sandy Hook nude beach and had to trip back and forth to the bathroom a mile away?) In addition, it might take a little bit of practice, but it really won’t leak when it’s properly added.
The other advantages of using the Diva Cup instead of tampons and sanitary napkins are that it’s eco-friendly and saves a lot of cash. The Diva Cup individuals did some computations, estimating the typical woman will use 10,000 tampons and pads in her lifetime. That’s lots of resulting waste and cash. Additionally they quote some research: “More than 170,000 tampon applicators were gathered along U.S. coastal regions between 1998 and 1999.” There is so much plastic and trash that washes up on shores, and I’d prefer not to add my dumped tampon applicators to it. Ick! If properly cared for, the Diva Cup will survive for 1 year and prices around $30 to $40, making it more cost effective than tampons/pads purchased in a year. (I found mine for $33.)
nudist girl ? For one, I was troubled by the long list of soaps that you shouldn’t use to clean it, aka every sort of soap I ‘d at home. But truly any light, unscented soap should be good, or it is possible to get the Diva Wash, specially made for it. Another dilemma is if you end up trying to take it out and wash it in private in a public bathroom. wants to take that up to the sink. The remedy is easy however: empty it into the toilet, clean it off with some tissue, and great to go until you get home.
For further questions or concerns I recommend heading over to the Diva Cup FAQ page.
